Project Overview:
Burntwood Court is a well-established leisure and hospitality venue in Yorkshire, offering a gym, spa, restaurant, and accommodation. While yoga was already on their class schedule, there was an opportunity to elevate their offering into a fully-fledged wellness experience.
As both a digital designer and a qualified yoga teacher, I set out to create a proposal that blended strategy, creativity, and wellbeing expertise.
The Challenge:
Burntwood has strong facilities but no unified wellness identity.

Opportunities included:
Expanding beyond yoga into sound baths, yoga nidra, meditation, and holistic workshops
Leveraging the spa, kitchen, and chef facilities to add healthy food packages
Modernising their digital presence with consistent branding and engaging content

The key question: How can Burntwood position itself as the go-to wellness destination in the region?
The Solution:
I designed a scrolling, web presentation that showcased:
The size of the UK yoga & wellness market (£12.3B and growing)
How Burntwood could stand out locally (with nearest competitors in Leeds)
A step-by-step plan for new offerings, branding, and digital presence
My ability to lead both the teaching and the design execution
The Design:
The web presentation I design used soft, wellness-led colours, clean typography, and a modern digital flow, showing exactly how Burntwood’s wellness identity could look and feel online as well as in house.
Branding Concepts:
Consistent, calm visual identity adaptable across platforms.
